The 1946 weepy It’s A Wonderful Life has been voted the top Christmas movie ever by filmgoers.
And next week the classic, starring James Stewart, will be shown on the big screen again at 80 cinemas.
The 68-year-old Frank Capra tearjerker knocked Home Alone, which made Macaulay Culkin a star, into second place.
Festive blood and guts classic Die Hard also found a spot in the Odeon’s list.
The chain said the titles showed the “enduring appeal of festive cinema.”
